Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Description

The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the academy’s data-driven decision making by collecting, analyzing, and visualizing operational and educational data. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining dashboards, preparing regular performance reports, and translating data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership and training teams. The role involves working with business intelligence tools, performing data modeling to structure and optimize datasets, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and improve processes. This is a part-time remote role, requiring consistent communication, reliable delivery of analysis, and adherence to data quality and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify trends and actionable insights.

• Proficiency in data modeling and structuring data for reporting, analytics, and dashboard development.

• Experience using business intelligence tools and creating dashboards that clearly communicate key metrics.

• Background in business analysis, with the ability to translate business needs into data requirements and reporting solutions.

• Relevant experience with data visualization, reporting, and basic statistical analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in en_US, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time hours effectively, and meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with education or training environments is an advantage.
