Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Description

The Business Intelligence Analyst will support data-driven decision-making by collecting, organizing, and analyzing business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining dashboards, developing intuitive reports, and optimizing data models that support key business functions. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical requirements, validating data sources, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency. The analyst will also recommend performance metrics, monitor KPIs, and provide concise insights that inform strategic and operational planning. This is a part-time, remote role that requires proactive communication, self-management, and the ability to work effectively across virtual teams.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

• Proficiency in data modeling and structuring data for reporting, forecasting, and decision-support purposes.

• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards that present KPIs and business performance clearly.

• Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms).

• Background in business analysis, including gathering requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

• Solid understanding of data visualization principles, data quality control, and basic database concepts (SQL is a plus).

• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

• Experience in real estate, finance, or risk management domains is an advantage but not required.
