Business System Analyst - SRE

for a long-term opportunity at

Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position)

Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.

Title: Business System Analyst - SRE

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2-3 Days onsite/week)

Long term Contract

Client: Banking/Financial

Key Responsibilities:

Own and drive end-to-end requirement gathering for assigned SRE initiatives
Work closely with requirement owners to clarify, document, and track requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle
Maintain strong requirements traceability from intake through to delivery sign-off
Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on scope and deliverables
Proactively manage and resolve requirement ambiguities before they become delivery blockers

Requirements:

Solid background in business analysis with demonstrated experience in technology delivery environments
Strong requirements traceability skills — disciplined in documentation and accountability
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with requirement owners and technical teams
Experience in SRE, platform reliability, or infrastructure domains is an asset
Familiarity with large financial institution environments preferred
