Role Description

The Civil Engineer will work on-site in Doha, Qatar in a full-time capacity, overseeing civil engineering aspects of construction projects from planning through execution. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications, coordinating with project managers and site teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The role involves performing site inspections, monitoring construction progress, addressing technical issues, and supporting stormwater management and other infrastructure requirements. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assist in project scheduling and resource planning, and contribute to quality, safety, and cost-efficiency goals across assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering, with the ability to develop and review structural and infrastructure plans.

• Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction projects, including coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Planning for project timelines, resources, and cost estimates, supporting effective project delivery.

• Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles, drainage design, and related regulatory requirements for civil works.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.

• Familiarity with applicable international and local codes and standards (e.g., building codes, infrastructure specifications in Qatar).

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, use civil engineering software (such as AutoCAD or similar tools), and prepare technical reports.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in diverse project teams.

• Previous experience in contracting or construction environments in the GCC region is an advantage.
