Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Dubai. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing steel and PEB-related civil structures in alignment with project specifications and local regulations. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed drawings and calculations, coordinating planning and stormwater management considerations, and collaborating with structural, fabrication, and erection teams to ensure safe and efficient execution. The role involves site inspections, monitoring construction progress, resolving technical issues, and supporting quality assurance and safety compliance. The Civil Engineer will also participate in project meetings, contribute to cost-effective design solutions, and maintain clear documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and proven experience as Civil Engineers, with the ability to apply civil engineering principles to steel and PEB projects.

• Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including structural analysis, detailing, and preparation of engineering drawings and specifications.

• Experience in Planning for civil and structural projects, including scheduling, resource coordination, and integration with other disciplines.

• Knowledge of Stormwater Management practices, drainage design, and compliance with relevant codes and environmental standards.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.

• Familiarity with design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS or equivalent) and standard civil engineering codes.

• Ability to work on-site in Dubai, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

• Experience with steel structures or Pre-Engineered Buildings is highly beneficial; GCC or UAE project experience is an advantage.
