Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering design, technical drawings, structural detailing, and site-related engineering activities. The candidate should have experience in preparing and reviewing drawings, coordinating with project teams, and handling civil engineering tasks within a heavy metal manufacturing or industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and modify civil engineering drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and construction details.

• Develop technical drawings and structural details based on project requirements and engineering specifications.

• Read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings.

• Perform basic structural calculations, quantity estimations, and material take-offs as required.

• Prepare BOQs, technical documents, and project-related reports.

• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, production, and project teams to ensure proper integration of civil and steel structures.

• Review drawings for compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and technical requirements.

• Conduct site inspections and monitor civil works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve technical issues.

• Support foundation design coordination, equipment foundations, concrete works, steel structures, and other industrial civil works.

• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned engineering activities.

• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, technical records, and project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant civil engineering experience.

• Previous Dubai/UAE work experience is mandatory.

• Experience in a heavy metal manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

• Knowledge of structural detailing and relevant engineering design software is an advantage.

• Ability to prepare and interpret civil, structural, and construction drawings.

• Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and site coordination.

• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

A technically competent Civil Engineer capable of independently handling civil engineering drawings, detailing, quantity estimation, site coordination, and other civil engineering activities related to industrial and manufacturing projects.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
