Civil Engineer

The Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and managing civil engineering projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, reviewing technical specifications, and providing engineering expertise throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects.

• Review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documents.

• Supervise contractors, consultants, and site activities to ensure project quality and compliance.

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other project stakeholders.

• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.

• Evaluate project risks and propose effective solutions.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and company policies.

• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical submittals and material specifications.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Professional Engineering certification or equivalent is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of

  5-10 years

  of experience in civil engineering, construction, or project management.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.

• Experience in coordinating with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera P6, MS Project, and engineering software.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
