Role Description

We are looking for a

Civil / Site Engineer – Industrial Construction

for a full-time, on-site role in

Veghel, Netherlands

The engineer will monitor and coordinate civil and structural construction activities, working directly with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Typical works include

industrial demolition, piling, foundations, reinforced concrete, structural steel, excavation, core drilling, anchoring, and related civil works

Key responsibilities include:

Monitor and inspect daily construction activities
Coordinate contractors and subcontractors on site
Verify works against drawings, specifications, and approved methods
Monitor quality, progress, safety, and workmanship
Identify and resolve technical and construction issues
Review drawings, method statements, and technical documentation
Maintain site records, inspection reports, photographs, and progress updates
Support testing, inspections, punch lists, and handover activities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in

Civil Engineering

or a related discipline
Practical experience in

civil construction, site engineering, or construction supervision
Experience with industrial or large-scale construction projects preferred
Good knowledge of

concrete, foundations, piling, structural steel, and demolition works
Ability to read and understand construction and engineering drawings
Strong contractor coordination and site-management skills
Knowledge of relevant Dutch/European construction and safety requirements
Valid driving licence (Category B) required
VCA-VOL certification preferred
Professional working proficiency in

English
Dutch language skills are an advantage
Able to work independently and maintain a strong daily presence on site
