We are looking for a highly analytical and environmentally focused

Climate Data Analyst

to transform complex climate and environmental data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making. ๐Ÿ“Š๐ŸŒฑ The role focuses on collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting climate datasets to identify trends, assess risks, and support sustainability and climate-related initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Collecting, cleaning, validating, and organizing climate, weather, environmental, and geospatial datasets.

  • ๐Ÿ“Š Analyzing climate trends, patterns, anomalies, emissions data, and environmental indicators.

  • ๐Ÿ”Ž Identifying relationships, trends, and potential climate-related risks through statistical and analytical methods.

  • ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Working with geographic and spatial datasets to support climate and environmental analysis.

  • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Developing dashboards, visualizations, reports, and analytical models to communicate complex findings clearly.

  • ๐Ÿงฎ Applying statistical techniques and data-analysis methodologies to support climate research and decision-making.

  • ๐Ÿ’ป Working with databases, spreadsheets, analytical tools, and programming environments for data processing and analysis.

  • ๐ŸŒฑ Supporting carbon accounting, emissions analysis, climate-risk assessment, and sustainability initiatives where applicable.

  • ๐Ÿค Collaborating with scientists, sustainability teams, policymakers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders.

  • ๐Ÿ“ Documenting methodologies, assumptions, data sources, analytical processes, and findings.

  • ๐Ÿš€ Monitoring emerging climate datasets, analytical technologies, modeling approaches, and environmental data sources.

๐ŸŽ“ Qualifications

  • โœ… Degree or relevant qualification in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Data Science, Statistics, Geography, Meteorology, Sustainability, or a related field.

  • ๐ŸŒ Strong understanding of climate science, environmental systems, sustainability, and climate-related data.

  • ๐Ÿ“Š Strong skills in statistical analysis, data interpretation, data visualization, and quantitative reasoning.

  • ๐Ÿ’ป Familiarity with programming languages and analytical tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar technologies.

  • ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Understanding of GIS, geospatial analysis, remote sensing, or spatial datasets is an advantage.

  • ๐Ÿ“ˆ Ability to work with large, complex, and multi-source datasets while maintaining data quality.
