CLINICAL DATA ANALYST

Under general supervision, designs and implements data management systems for clinical information.
General Responsibilities
-
Develops methods for tracking and reporting data.

Collects, enters and statistically analyzes data and prepares a variety of special and recurring reports for publication or presentation.

Assigns interviewers for data collection, monitors completion of data, handles quality assurance and performs data cleaning.

May assist in preparation of figures and tables for scientific manuscripts. Acts in a caring and courteous manner towards all patients, guests, visitors, students, and staff.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
-
Collects, cleans, and organizes clinical data from multiple sources, including clinical trials, patient records, and healthcare databases.

Maintains data collection systems and ensures compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, FDA regulations).

Performs statistical analysis on clinical data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.

Presents data findings to clinical teams, management, or regulatory bodies, explaining complex statistical analyses in a clear and understandable way.

Proposes and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in clinical data management.

Supports clinical projects by coordinating timelines, resources, and data delivery.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to read and write and be able to comprehend written and oral instructions

Ability to communicate effectively with medical, professional, administrative, and other personnel

Ability to analyze, interpret, and display statistical data
Additional Responsibilities
-
Position will support 1-3 PIs on Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT) with data analysis.

Data will be analyzed for internal and external stakeholders and can be submitted for publication, poster exhibit, or oral presentation.
Hourly Range: $21.10-$34.30
Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Public Health, Statistics or a related field required.

Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
