This Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1 (CNC1) position on the Older Persons Mental Health Unit at the Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) is a great opportunity to work in an outstanding team that puts consumers and their families first. You will be provided with all the entitlements attached to NSW Health, working in a supportive team.

What you'll be doing
The CNC1 has many domains inclusive of providing high level care to the over 65 year old consumers on the ward, providing education, training, mentoring and supervision to other staff and working on service improvements through research and quality improvement activities.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria

Registered Nurse who has a minimum of 5 years full time post graduate experience. In addition, the applicant must have an approved post graduate qualification and substantial relevant experience to the specialty.

Demonstrated experience with research activities, developing and implementing education programmes.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and people from Government and Non-government agencies.
