About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and technically capable cloud engineer to help design, deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform and a strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, security, and automation.

This role is suitable for an entry to mid-level cloud professional who wants to take ownership of cloud environments and grow their expertise in cloud architecture, DevOps, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, security, and reliability.

Manage cloud services including compute, storage, databases, networking, and identity/access management.

Implement and maintain Virtual Networks/VPCs, subnets, security groups, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.

Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

Support CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps and development teams.

Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, connectivity, and performance issues.

Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.

Monitor cloud costs and identify opportunities for optimization.

Apply cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, access controls, and secure configurations.

Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.

Collaborate with developers, security teams, system administrators, and project managers to support business and technical requirements.

Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.

1โ€“4 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, systems administration, DevOps, or a related field.

Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform:

AWS

Microsoft Azure

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Understanding of cloud networking, compute, storage, databases, and IAM.

Experience with Linux and/or Windows server environments.

Basic scripting knowledge using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.

Familiarity with Git and version control.

Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, and load balancing.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and documentation skills.
