The Cloud Systems & AI Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining the technology foundation that powers AeroTech's next-generation intelligent airport solutions. This role bridges cloud infrastructure, edge computing, AI processing, cybersecurity, backend services, and operational technology (OT) systems to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable deployment of connected airport equipment.
Working closely with software developers, cloud architects, cybersecurity teams, field engineers, and product management, this individual will help develop and maintain the infrastructure supporting IoT devices, AI vision systems, digital twins, remote operations, and future autonomous technologies.
This position is highly collaborative and requires someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges across multiple disciplines.
YOUR IMPACT

Design, deploy, secure, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure supporting AeroTech applications, including networking, storage, identity, monitoring, performance, and cost optimization.

Configure and support AI processing servers and GPU-enabled edge computing platforms, including AI inference environments and emerging AI technologies.

Develop and support secure edge-to-cloud architectures connecting PLCs, IoT gateways, Edge PCs, cameras, and Azure services.

Support computer vision and video analytics infrastructure, including AI-enabled video processing, camera deployments, and video system integration.

Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of distributed edge systems and remote management capabilities.

Support cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability testing, system hardening, and Zero Trust initiatives across cloud, edge, and customer environments.

Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud deployment standards.

Test and validate new systems and backend services for functionality, scalability, performance, security, and production readiness.

Perform integration testing and troubleshooting across cloud, networking, mobile, web, AI, and edge/OT systems.

Collaborate with Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity, Product Management, and Field Engineering to support customer deployments, documentation, and technical standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Four (4) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Standout Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience, including services such as AKS, IoT Hub, Event Hub, Functions, Databricks, Key Vault, Storage, Azure Monitor, or Azure AI services.

Windows/Linux administration and networking experience, including TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and secure remote connectivity.

Containers, DevOps, and software integration experience, including Docker/Kubernetes, Git/GitHub Actions, CI/CD, REST APIs, Python, or C#.

Industrial IoT, OT, and edge computing experience, including PLC communications such as MQTT, OPC-UA, or Modbus and edge platforms such as NVIDIA or Intel GPU systems.

Cybersecurity and AI/video experience, including Zero Trust, OT cybersecurity, system hardening, computer vision, video analytics, or AI inference systems.

Pay Range
$92,600.00 - $154,400.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
