Your Job

In simple terms, this role is for someone who can

develop and maintain Cloudera/CDP data pipelines

while also providing

L1/L2 production support

for the data platform. They will work mainly with

Spark, Hive, Impala, Kafka, NiFi, HDFS/Ozone, Iceberg, and Cloudera Manager

, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, monitoring, and incident management

Required Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in

Cloudera/CDP, Big Data, or Data Engineering

.

Strong hands-on experience with

Spark, Hive, Impala, HDFS/Ozone, and YARN

.

Experience with

Kafka, NiFi, and batch/real-time data pipelines

.

Strong knowledge of

Cloudera Manager, cluster monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support

.

Experience in

performance tuning, incident management, RCA, SLA, and ITIL processes

.

Good knowledge of

Linux/Unix, Kerberos, Ranger, and Atlas

is preferred.

Experience with

Iceberg, HBase, Kudu, Phoenix, or Solr

will be an added advantage.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills with experience in

mission-critical production environments
