Construction Estimator

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to develop detailed construction cost estimates.

• Perform quantity take-offs for civil, structural, and architectural works in line with project BOQs.

• Source competitive quotations from subcontractors and suppliers for materials and specialized works.

• Prepare cost summaries, tender comparisons, and pricing strategies for submission.

• Assess project risks, site conditions, and constructability issues that may impact cost.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal project teams during the tender and clarification process.

• Contribute to value engineering initiatives to improve cost competitiveness.

• Maintain an updated database of construction rates and market pricing across the UAE.

• Assist with the handover of awarded projects to the site/operations team, including budget breakdowns.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction estimating experience within the UAE market.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

• Solid experience estimating building/civil construction projects (commercial, residential, or infrastructure).

• Strong understanding of UAE construction methods, market rates, and subcontractor landscape.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimating software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).

• Strong quantity take-off, analytical, and cost-planning skills.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
