Strategic partnerships across TMG sites in the regions as well as US inventory team. Engagement with sites leadership while maintaining billion-dollar inventory valuations and leading transformational process improvements that directly support TI’s must dos

Functional understanding of cost accounting and related systems and processes

Cross-functional teaming for inventory-related process improvements
-
In depth understanding of TI manufacturing processes
** Responsibilities include:
-
Monthly and quarterly close, inventory valuation, audits, intercompany pricing, and full compliance with Internal Control Checklist (ICC), TI Policies & Procedures, and GAAP
-
Participating in process standardization efforts to harmonize costing procedures across A/T factories
-
Executing cycle count planning, coordination, and follow-up across factory
-
Supporting Cycle Count Consolidation initiative—streamline procedures, improve accuracy, reduce manual effort
-
Monitoring inventory aging and compliance
-
Coordinating with site procurement and operations teams on inventory compliance requirements
-
Collaborating with finance and management teams on periodic reviews and ad hoc analysis
-
Continuously seeking process improvements, including but not limited to automation, efficiency, accuracy, and increased robustness
-
Driving strategic vision for how accounting processes and control requirements can support future factory expansion and increasing production volumes
-
Leading and participating on a variety of priorities teams and initiatives with close partnership with IT, including a worldwide project to evaluate and redesign TI’s approach to inventory ownership and costing
-
Training individuals within the team or other functions on the inventory accounting or compliance to ensure understanding and alignment on each function’s objectives and requirements.
This role is open to employees in Org193 in U.S.,China, Taiwan, Mexico, Philippines and Malaysia
Minimum requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Operations, Accounting, Business, Engineering or related field
-
2+ years of relevant Experience (TI systems and processes, operational experience, etc..)
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Proficiency in SAP, Excel, BPC, Spotfire, and Business Objects
-
Fundamental understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes
-
General knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, including GAAP and inventory accounting
-
Strong organizational, strategic, and critical thinking skills
-
Advanced time management and prioritization abilities
-
Strong understanding of internal control principles and accounting policies and procedures
-
Ability to influence and collaborate across broad levels of management and functions
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
