Cyber Security Associate (Work Experience)

Experience to Employment (E2E) Residency Program

This is designed to be a temporary work experience that translates into actual experience on your CV.

Residents are treated as junior employees from day one. They are placed on a (fixed-term) zero-hour contract concurrent to their E2E residency, so for all intents and purposes, you are a real full employee on a fixed-term contract with ISRM Group as an 'Cyber Security Associate (P4-CSA)". This contract is intentionally designed to help jump start your career when you leave our firm.Your contract is extended on a bi-monthly basis, meaning if you want more experience you can choose to stay with us (extend) or you can exit the program whenever you feel you've gained enough experience.

We will provide references to any future employer confirming your employment with us and your contribution to our firm, without disclosing any financials or specific information about your employment arrangement with us.

About our firm (ISRM)

We're an international UK-based Digital Forensics & Risk Management Firm.Our firm conducts research into information security and data loss prevention (DLP) in the context of DFIR. We supply commercial off-the-shelf technology (COTS) tools and information risk management service offerings to the public and private sector.

We're giving students and graduates the opportunity to jumpstart their career whilst working on technical projects that are cutting edge, innovative and hold relevance across the public sector, defence, banking, and more.

What type of work do we want from our residents?

We're a lean enterprise, meaning we won't need you doing a lot of wasteful work, we don't overload our team with menial tasks or jobs that are meaningless. Rather, we select people with specific skill sets and competence as temp specialists to work jointly on projects and carry out occasional resident tasks as required by their line manager.

We're served by competent people that provide specific results, any result you produce is something you can add to your portfolio and bring to your next job interview, we will confirm it. We have a lot of prospective personnel so no project or task will be unreasonable or overload any single person. We will accommodate your educational commitments.

If you perform a task to an exceeding level or complete a project, we will offer you a retainer, meaning you'll be placed on a 3-month extended contract, but we won't require any work from you during that time (essentially a reward).

There are also opportunities for residents passionate about our company to stay with us and become involved at a higher level and join the team permanently.
