Job description

Role:

Cyber Security Engineer responsible for identifying security weaknesses in systems and software, with a focus on Cyber Security Scanning and RMF process support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Cyber Security Scans and ensure accurate data collection to support the RMF process.

  • Collaborate with cyber security and systems engineering teams to develop, implement, and improve security processes, standards, and operational plans.

  • Lead training efforts to promote secure practices among team members and users.

  • Ensure secure transmission of security information and assess risk to meet compliance requirements.

  • Work in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment, maintaining meticulous communication and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.

  • Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.

  • Strong understanding of the RMF process and systems engineering.

  • Excellent communication skills for coordination with teams, government, and stakeholders.
