The Opportunity

The Cybersecurity team embodies Arup’s Total Design philosophy by integrating people, processes, technology, and physical assets into cohesive cybersecurity strategies that are embedded from concept through to implementation. The team works with a variety of public sector organisations, including Transport Infrastructure Ireland.

With reference to our Cybersecurity service within Digital Services, it exemplifies Arup’s Total Design by embedding cybersecurity and resilience governance frameworks, proactive cybersecurity risk intelligence, and compliance assurance into the design, implementation and operational phase of projects—ensuring that systems, processes, and people are holistically protected from cybersecurity threats.

Arup is at the forefront of smart and connected building, city and transport technology, and our cyber-advisory specialists have expertise in Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Automation Control Systems (IACS) and IoT technology. We advise clients on risk and vulnerability analysis and propose mitigation strategies that enhance infrastructure resilience and safety.

This is an office-based role, with successful candidates expected to work 5 days per week in the Arup office in Cork or Dublin.

Is this role right for you?

Arup is looking for a technically capable cybersecurity consultant with experience in cybersecurity risk-based advisory and assurance, who communicates clearly and enjoys working in multidisciplinary teams supporting the built environment and connected infrastructure.
