Rios Partners is a mission-driven consulting firm creating positive change by delivering value for our clients, investing in our employees, and solving tough problems that benefit our local and global communities. We ground our approach in empathy, enabling our team members to hear our customers’ challenges better and work together to develop effective solutions. As a team, we know what it takes to move organizations forward with measurable, sustainable results.

Our primary consideration when evaluating candidates is alignment with our Mission and Values.

Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Coordination Analyst, you will provide PMO-level coordination of cybersecurity notifications, tracking, and reporting for the Program — keeping the prime contractor’s cybersecurity, technical, compliance, and program leadership aligned on deadlines, evidence requests, and closure status across a high-volume federal reporting environment. To excel in this role, you should have strong organizational skills and familiarity with federal cybersecurity compliance processes. The Program is a federal telehealth modernization effort for which Rios Partners would serve as a subcontractor to the prime contractor, providing Program Management Office (PMO) support. This is a full-time position contingent upon anticipated contract award, supporting a program expected to run approximately 30 months (contingent on the prime contractor's award of the contract and exercise of option periods).

The Cybersecurity Coordination Analyst will:

  • Provide PMO coordination support for cybersecurity notifications, POA&M-related tracking, IAVM message coordination, certification and accreditation (C&A) support activities, and cybersecurity reporting timelines.

  • Track Government notifications, response deadlines, acknowledgment requirements, closure status, risks, dependencies, and evidence requests.

  • Maintain the Cybersecurity Coordination Tracker, capturing action items, due dates, and closure status for recurring program reporting.

  • Coordinate with prime contractor cybersecurity, technical, compliance, and program leadership teams to support timely and complete responses to Government inquiries.

  • Support cybersecurity-related inputs to program status reporting, risk/issue logs, and executive briefings.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, coordination, or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) support.

  • Familiarity with federal cybersecurity processes such as POA&Ms, IAVM notifications, and certification/accreditation (C&A) or Risk Management Framework (RMF)/ATO activities.

  • Strong organizational and tracking skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and stakeholders.

  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills for Government-facing coordination.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or comparable federal agency cybersecurity compliance programs.

  • Security+ (CompTIA) or similar cybersecurity certification.

  • Familiarity with FedRAMP/GovCloud authorization environments.

Additional information

  • U.S. work authorization required.

  • Security Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance (i.e. must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident who has resided in the US for the past three years consecutively).

  • Must be willing to operate in a hybrid environment, including work in person at prime contractor and/or Government facilities as needed (final schedule determined by team and project) and at the Rios Partners office in Arlington, VA as needed.

Application Instructions

Applicants should submit a tailored resume (no more than 2 pages) that clearly displays relevant professional experience and concisely communicates how past education and experience will allow them to be successful in this role. Cover letters, work samples, and/or transcripts are not required at this stage of the process.
