Position Overview
Brockman Strategy Group, Inc. seeks a motivated, career-focused, and customer-oriented Cyber Tabletop Test and Evaluation (T&E) Position to support government cybersecurity and cyber resilience initiatives.
This is a primarily remote position, with potential hybrid requirements that may include approximately one day per month onsite in Washington, D.C., depending on client and program needs.
The selected professional will provide expertise across the operational T&E lifecycle, including requirements review, test planning, execution, data management, technical analysis, and reporting. Working within a multidisciplinary team, this individual will advise government stakeholders on cybersecurity testing, cyber tabletop exercises, and the ability of systems to protect information and sustain mission operations against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities

Provide operational cybersecurity T&E expertise. Support requirements review, test planning, execution, data management, and reporting, focusing on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.

Support cyber tabletop exercises and assessments. Provide technical analysis, advisory support, and technical oversight to the government T&E Division Lead. Focus areas include cyber systems, industrial control systems, operational technology security, cyber tabletop exercises, CVPA testing, and adversarial assessments.

Review acquisition requirements and test plans. Evaluate Mission Needs Statements, Operational Requirements Documents, Concepts of Operations, and Test and Evaluation Master Plans. Provide recommendations addressing cybersecurity requirements, threat modeling, cyber resilience, security testing strategies, and applicable security controls, including NIST SP 800-53 controls.

Coordinate program execution and cyber risk management. Participate in government T&E WIPTs to establish and monitor milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria. Coordinate information across organizations and support the identification and mitigation of cyber risks throughout the system lifecycle.

Develop technical guidance and deliver instruction. Contribute to cyber resilience guidebooks, Letters of Assessment, and other T&E documentation. Teach cyber resilience T&E topics in Department of Homeland Security workshops and classes.
