Job description

We are seeking a Lead Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice, focusing on Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.

Responsibilities Include

  • Managing and tuning the AppGate SDP platform to support enterprise ZTNA objectives

  • Architecting and enforcing dynamic, identity-centric security policies and micro-segmentation rules

  • Translating complex security requirements into scalable ZTNA policies

  • Leading workshops and requirements gathering for onboarding applications to ZT architecture

  • Integrating ZTNA tools with broader security systems like IAM, PAM, and SIEM for automation and monitoring

  • Mentoring engineers and analysts responsible for AppGate operations

  • Developing documentation, runbooks, and policy guidelines

  • Engaging with stakeholders to ensure compliance and security alignment

Qualifications Include

  • Minimum of five years’ experience with network security and ZTNA solutions, especially AppGate SDP

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • At least two years of leadership or managerial experience

  • Vendor-agnostic knowledge of ZTNA platforms and SDP architectures

  • Experience designing complex access policies and segmentation strategies

  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles, with familiarity with frameworks like NIST 800-207

  • Experience with integrating security solutions with IAM, PAM, and ITSM systems

  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, AppGate

  • U.S. Government Secret clearance required

  • Willingness to travel as needed
