Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Description:
SEACORP is seeking Cybersecurity Engineers at various levels. The Cybersecurity engineer will manage compliance, operations, and policy as it pertains to classified government systems. An in-depth knowledge of STIGs, NIST 800-53, and Risk Management Framework is required. Evaluates the effectiveness of the information assurance security controls required to maintain an operational ATO on naval systems. Familiarity with IATT and ATO artifacts and processes required for the initial package approval process. Duties will include but are not limited to; systems engineering, compliance report generation, artifact creation, security scans, DISA checklist file completion, and Linux system administration. Candidate must possess the ability to operate independently without direct supervision for long periods of time.
Job Responsibilities Include:

Cybersecurity Engineers prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.

Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber resilient network.

Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.

Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.

Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.
Qualifications:
Education:
Cybersecurity Engineer I & II - Bachelor's Degree
Cybersecurity Engineer III - Master's Degree
Experience
:
Cybersecurity Engineer I - 0 Years Of Experience Required.
Cybersecurity Engineer II - Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
Cybersecurity Engineer III - Minimum of 10 years of experience required.
Required Experience:
-
Experience in professional engagements with internal and external customers (AOs, SCAs, Program Managers, etc.).

Experience with the secure configuration and auditing of various operating systems (Windows, Linux, Cisco IOS).

Familiarity with systems security tools such as ACAS, SCAP, and eMASS.

Familiarity with system security documentation such as NIST SP 800-53.
Ideal Experience:
-
Active DOD Secret security clearance.

Currently possesses 8570 DoD IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, CySA+ CE, GSEC, CISSP, etc.). If certifications are not currently held, candidate should be able to pass the certification requirement within one year of employment. COMSEC experience
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
