You will be the Cyber System Security Engineering Intern for the Program Protection Organization. Our team develops subsystems that protect sensitive technology and data across LockheedâŻMartin Missiles and Fire Control.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for defining system functionality, designing antiâtamper and cyberâsecurity features, and supporting modelâbased systemsâengineering activities.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Define system states, modes, and antiâtamper/cyberâsecurity design features for critical subsystems.

Develop modelâbased systemsâengineering diagrams and timing assessments to characterize system behavior for target use cases.

Participate in requirements development, trade studies, implementation, and documentation of antiâtamper solutions.

Assist in creating and maintaining Program Protection Implementation Plans and related artifacts.

Coordinate with program leadership, subcontractors, customers, and government review teams to address technical and programmatic risks.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZENâŻââŻThis position is located at a facility that requiresâŻspecial access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelorâs Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related major.

Experience with cybersecurity toolsets. This may include work with penetration testing, Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, or similar skillsets.

Familiarity or interest in the fields of cybersecurity. This may include system design and/or vulnerability assessment.
Desired Skills
-
Experience with software assurance: Coverity and Fortify highly preferred

Experience with operating systems: Kali Linux (preferred), Windows, etc.

Experience implementing cybersecurity requirements

Experience with hardening operating systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience delivering written / oral presentations to program personnel and customers.

Ability to think critically to find optimal approaches to difficult design issues.

Active clearance required, within scope if possible
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $26.81 - $30.97

Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
