Job description
Key Responsibilities

Collect, consolidate, clean, validate and maintain property, customer, market and operational data from multiple internal and external sources.

Analyse Australian property market trends, suburb performance, demographic statistics, economic indicators, infrastructure activity, rental demand and investment risks.

Build, maintain and improve Power BI dashboards, data models, management reports and data visualisations.

Develop and monitor KPIs relating to property market performance, suburb growth, rental conditions, customer behaviour, sales activity and business operations.

Identify trends, patterns, relationships and anomalies within property, customer and business datasets.

Undertake comparative, trend, variance, scenario and forecasting analysis to support management decision-making.

Evaluate property investment opportunities using structured quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Prepare property market reports, suburb assessments, investment comparisons, executive summaries and actionable business recommendations.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather data requirements, validate source information and develop reporting solutions.

Engage with prospective investors to gather structured information required for customer segmentation and investment analysis.

Collaborate with builders, developers, landowners and property industry stakeholders to obtain and verify property and project data.

Support pre-contract and due diligence processes by reconciling property information, identifying inconsistencies and assessing data-related risks.

Maintain data-quality controls, reporting definitions, source registers, analytical assumptions and supporting documentation.
Key Requirements

Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Property Economics, Information Systems or a related quantitative discipline.

Demonstrated experience in data analysis, business intelligence, property research, market intelligence or a related analytical role.

Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, Power Query, PivotTables, formulas and data reconciliation.

Experience collecting, cleaning, validating, modelling and interpreting data from multiple sources.

Experience developing and monitoring business or market KPIs.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, risks and commercial implications.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

High attention to detail and strong data-quality assurance capabilities.

Knowledge of Australian property market, demographic, economic or investment data will be highly regarded.

SQL, DAX, Python, R or geographic data analysis experience will be advantageous where relevant to the employerโs systems.
Pay: $80,000.00 per year
