We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Hiredbuddy. This is a fully remote, entry-level role designed for individuals who are eager to launch their career in data analytics. You will work closely with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources, creating visualizations and reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders. You will also assist in maintaining data quality and integrity, developing automated processes, and supporting ad-hoc analytical requests.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as SQL, Excel, and Python, as well as data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI. You will learn to write efficient queries, perform exploratory data analysis, and communicate your results clearly. We value curiosity, a problem-solving mindset, and a willingness to learn. Key day-to-day tasks include:

Extracting and manipulating data from databases using SQL

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related) or equivalent practical experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Basic understanding of SQL and ability to write simple queries
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
