Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will analyze datasets to support strategic decision-making, optimize business processes, and identify operational insights. This position involves transforming data into clear visual narratives and maintaining database structures to support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Oracle databases, R, and Python.
Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights across departments.
Design and maintain databases using standard database design principles and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile project management framework to deliver analytics solutions.
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements or cost savings through systematic business analysis.
Create process flow diagrams and database schemas using Visio to document project workflows.
Track project progress, manage deliverables, and ensure alignment with project milestones.
Automate data workflows using VBA scripting and Bash (Unix shell) commands.

Qualifications and Skills

Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI for creating data visualizations.
Strong working knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle databases, and either R or Python for data extraction and analysis.
Experience working within Agile methodologies and project management environments.
Practical understanding of SDLC processes from requirement gathering through deployment.
Experience in business analysis techniques to translate data findings into actionable recommendations.
Knowledge of database design to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
Familiarity with VBA scripting for automating spreadsheet tasks.
Knowledge of Bash (Unix shell) scripting for managing server-side data workflows.

Pay: $45,780.77-$111,572.26 per year
