Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will analyze datasets to support strategic decision-making, optimize business processes, and identify operational insights. This position involves transforming data into clear visual narratives and maintaining database structures to support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Oracle databases, R, and Python.

  • Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights across departments.

  • Design and maintain databases using standard database design principles and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an Agile project management framework to deliver analytics solutions.

  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements or cost savings through systematic business analysis.

  • Create process flow diagrams and database schemas using Visio to document project workflows.

  • Track project progress, manage deliverables, and ensure alignment with project milestones.

  • Automate data workflows using VBA scripting and Bash (Unix shell) commands.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI for creating data visualizations.

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle databases, and either R or Python for data extraction and analysis.

  • Experience working within Agile methodologies and project management environments.

  • Practical understanding of SDLC processes from requirement gathering through deployment.

  • Experience in business analysis techniques to translate data findings into actionable recommendations.

  • Knowledge of database design to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.

  • Familiarity with VBA scripting for automating spreadsheet tasks.

  • Knowledge of Bash (Unix shell) scripting for managing server-side data workflows.

Pay: $45,780.77-$111,572.26 per year
