Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing construction company.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, spreadsheets, reports, and computers. You will help our team organize company and construction project information and prepare reports that help management make informed decisions.

This position is primarily remote and is suitable for an entry-level candidate or someone looking to grow their experience in data analysis.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain company and construction project data.
Enter, update, and review information for accuracy.
Create and update Excel spreadsheets and reports.
Help track project costs, expenses, budgets, schedules, and other company information.
Review data and identify errors, missing information, or unusual results.
Prepare basic reports and summaries for management.
Help organize information from different departments.
Assist with data cleanup and record keeping.
Help create simple dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
Work with team members to collect information and understand reporting needs.
Perform other administrative and data-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Some experience working with data, spreadsheets, reports, or office software is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
Good attention to detail.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills.
Comfortable working with numbers and information.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Previous construction experience is a plus, but not required.
A degree or formal training in data analytics, business, computer science, or a related field is a plus, but not required.

Who We Are Looking For

We are willing to consider candidates with different levels of experience. You do not need to be an expert in SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or other advanced analytics tools to apply.

If you are comfortable using a computer, have basic Excel skills, are organized, pay attention to details, and are willing to learn, we encourage you to apply.

Experience in construction, office administration, accounting, project coordination, or other fields involving spreadsheets and data is also welcome.

Work Arrangement

This position will start as primarily remote.

As our construction company grows and we establish an office location, there may be consideration for this position to become hybrid or onsite based on business needs. Any future onsite requirements will be communicated in advance.

We are looking for someone dependable, organized, and willing to learn who wants to build their skills while supporting a growing construction company.

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
