Job Summary

Manages 24/7 power reliability, maintenance, and efficiency of critical infrastructure. Core duties involve overseeing medium/low-voltage distribution, UPS systems, backup generators, and electrical safety to achieve maximum uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot

    MV/LV systems, transformers, generators, ATS, UPS, batteries, switchgear, PDU/RPP, busway and power distribution systems

    .

  • Execute preventive/corrective maintenance and prepare MOPs in accordance with OEM requirements.

  • Perform authorized

    switching, shutdown/startup, isolation, restoration and LOTO

    activities.

  • Supervise electrical technicians and coordinate with OEMs/vendors for major maintenance and equipment failures.

  • Respond to electrical emergencies and support

    RCA, corrective and preventive actions

    .

  • Maintain electrical redundancy, reliability and operational resilience.

  • Execute approved changes and ensure proper technical documentation.

  • Manage critical spare parts, tools, testing equipment and calibration records.

  • Ensure compliance with

    HSE, SOPs, MOPs, EOPs and site procedures

    .

  • Support testing, commissioning, equipment performance reviews and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in

    Electrical Engineering

    .

  • Minimum

    5 years of data center/mission-critical facilities experience

    .

  • Strong experience with critical power systems, LOTO, switching and isolation.

  • Tier III/Tier IV data center experience preferred.

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication and team leadership skills.

  • Experience managing technicians, OEMs and contractors.

  • Ability to work under pressure, shifts and on-call requirements.

  • Ability to work under pressure and participate in

    24x7/on-call operations

    .

  • English communication required; Arabic preferred.

Preferred Certifications/Training:

CDCP or equivalent,

Uptime Institute

, DCOM/ATS, HV Switching, Electrical Safety, LOTO, OEM training and Crisis/Incident Management.
