About the Opportunity

BizTech Fusion is hiring a Data Engineer on behalf of one of its clients.

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data platforms, data pipelines, AI/ML workflows, and cloud-based solutions supporting enterprise software products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, SQL, data modeling, ETL, cloud platforms, AI/ML, and modern data engineering practices.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of relevant software or data engineering experience.
Experience with Python and SQL.
Strong knowledge of data modeling and database concepts.
Hands-on experience designing and developing ETL processes and data pipelines.
Experience with AI/ML frameworks and workflows.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
Strong understanding of software development fundamentals.
Experience with system design and architecture.
Full-stack development exposure is preferred, particularly Angular and Node.js.
Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
Develop and manage end-to-end AI/ML pipelines.
Support data modeling, data integration, and data quality initiatives.
Design and deploy cloud-native data and AI solutions.
Develop and implement LLM and Generative AI solutions.
Build solutions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Work with vector databases and vector search technologies.
Develop and manage prompt orchestration pipelines.
Ensure data governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
Monitor production systems for reliability, performance, and scalability.
Participate in architecture and design decisions for enterprise-scale data and AI platforms.
Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, architects, and other cross-functional teams.
