Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SQL, Python, databases, and data processing concepts and will work with senior engineers to build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and data infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want to build their experience in modern Data Engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and monitor ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data processing and analysis.
Develop data processing scripts using Python.
Work with relational and cloud-based databases.
Assist in building and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes.
Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks.
Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and resolve data-related issues.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and other technical teams.
Document data pipelines, processes, and technical solutions.
Follow coding, testing, version-control, and data engineering best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of data processes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
0–2 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Database Development, or a related field.
Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python or another programming language.
Understanding of ETL/ELT and data pipeline concepts.
Basic understanding of data structures, databases, and data processing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
