Data Engineer Lead

Role Overview:

Seeking a Lead Specialist to join the Federal Advisory practice, focusing on leveraging big data tools and approaches to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize modern big data tools to address business objectives and develop platform requirements.

• Assess client data platforms, identify technology gaps, and recommend modernization, cloud migration, and integration solutions.

• Design tools and services for cloud DevOps environments, including performance and security monitoring, deployment automation, and resource scripting.

• Lead cross-functional teams and workshops to identify business opportunities and drive innovation.

• Contribute to developing and presenting thought leadership in data platform advancements.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least five years of technical data engineering experience, preferably with U.S. Federal government consulting.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Advana, Databricks, Spark preferred.

• Experience with development methodologies such as Agile, GIT, CI/CD, and test-driven development.

• Knowledge of data architecture, integration, coding, and testing patterns with open-source platforms.

• Proven leadership in managing project teams and engagements.

• Ability to support engagements that may require travel.

• Must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
