Role:

Manager, Data Engineer - Databricks

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and development of large-scale data solutions in Databricks, supporting use cases such as delta lake, reporting, analytics, and AI/ML.

• Support the design of data architectures and cloud data warehouse migrations using best practices.

• Translate business and technical requirements into actionable technical approaches, lead project management, and develop client relationships.

• Create insightful visualizations, reports, and presentations to communicate results and educate stakeholders.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Databricks ecosystem and articulate the value of cloud modernization to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in cloud data lake/warehouse architecture, design, or development, preferably Databricks certified.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• Experience leading cloud modernization projects, data migration, and working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Hands-on skills in data security, messaging patterns, ELT, data wrangling, SQL, Apache Spark, and data integration technologies.

• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders; leadership qualities preferred.

• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, motivated, quick learner, and capable of supporting Databricks deployment and integration.
