Required Qualifications:

Direct experience serving as a data management officer at a public university in Texas.

Working knowledge of Texas DIR requirements, Texas Data Management Framework, and Texas Administrative Code (TAC) 202.

Experience with higher education platforms such as Ellucian Banner/Colleague, PeopleSoft/Oracle Campus Solutions, Workday, Salesforce, or Canvas.

Certifications such as DAMA CDMP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, or relevant Oracle certifications.

Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or Snowflake) in a higher education or public sector setting.

Familiarity with data privacy and compliance frameworks (FERPA, HIPAA, etc.).
