We are looking for a Data Engineer I who is an exceptional early-career engineer with strong Python and SQL skills and a passion for solving complex challenging technical problems and dealing with a certain amount of ambiguity.

Build and maintain data pipelines and data products and solutions using Python, SQL and modern cloud data platforms and technologies

Develop, test and troubleshoot data ingestion, transformations and workflows

Apply software engineering practices including Git, testing, and CI/CD

Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development and testing productivity

Collaborate with experienced engineers, take ownership, adapt and learn quickly and deliver solutions that directly support our data and other stakeholders

Willing to embrace the pace, ambiguity and challenges of a startup environment

0-2 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science or a related technical field

Excellent Python programming skills and a reasonable knowledge of SQL

Has completed one or more internships, research or created projects in software or data engineering

Exposure or a decent understanding of Cloud Data Platforms

Exposure/Experience building with Spark, Airflow, dbt, Kafka or similar technologies

Experience using AI-enabled development tools and technologies
