Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle of data products, platforms, analytics solutions, and data services. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technical teams, ensuring data products are scalable, reliable, governed, and aligned with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for data products and platforms.

  • Identify high-value opportunities by analyzing business needs, data capabilities, and user pain points.

  • Lead the full data product lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, launch, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with data engineers, data architects, data scientists, and analytics teams to build scalable pipelines, models, and data services.

  • Translate business requirements into data transformations, metadata, business rules, and technical requirements.

  • Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, documentation, privacy, and compliance standards are maintained.

  • Serve as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Manage competing priorities, communicate product roadmaps, and drive cross-functional alignment.

  • Define KPIs and success metrics to measure product adoption, performance, and business impact.

  • Partner with analytics teams on dashboards, reporting, KPIs, and actionable insights.

  • Promote responsible and ethical use of data, particularly within highly regulated environments.

  • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and support to technical and business teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 4โ€“7 years of experience in data management, data analytics, data engineering, product management, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated product leadership skills and ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments.

  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, data warehousing, data modeling, metadata, and governance.

  • Experience collaborating with data architecture, engineering, analytics, and data science teams.

  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.

  • Excellent communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with SQL, data lakes, ETL, and modern data pipelines.

  • Significant experience with Databricks.

  • Familiarity with Python and Java.

  • Experience with analytics tools such as dbt, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Analytics.

  • Understanding of enterprise data-sharing requirements, constraints, and data-sharing agreements.

  • Experience building internal platforms or developer-facing products.

  • Experience implementing modern data architectures within an organization.

  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment involving statistical analysis, reporting, privacy, or sensitive data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with machine learning infrastructure and data science products.

  • Experience managing enterprise-scale data platforms or products.

  • Knowledge of responsible AI, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience working across large, complex organizations with multiple technical and business stakeholders.

Pay: $60.00 per hour
