- About the Opportunity:
The Demo Environment Operations Manager leads the team responsible for building and maintaining demonstration environments that support global sales and marketing efforts. This role combines leadership with hands-on technical work to ensure efficient operations and delivery of key initiatives. It plays a critical part in driving operational excellence and innovation in demo environment development.
- Responsibilities:
• Manage, mentor, and evaluate Demo Engineers, fostering a supportive environment.
• Monitor workloads, assign tasks, and provide necessary resources and guidance.
• Develop and maintain best practices and standards for demo environments.
• Track operational metrics to identify issues and improve processes.
• Collaborate with Product teams to define demo strategy and roadmap.
• Work with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to set deliverables and timelines.
• Participate in resolving demo requests with the team.
• Design, build, script, and configure demo environments and sample datasets.
• Coordinate escalations with cross-functional teams as needed.
- Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years leading technical teams or managing technical operations, preferably in Sales Engineering, Technical Support, or DevOps.
• At least 5 years hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), API integrations, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern web technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript for environment setup and testing automation.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams for events, product launches, or software releases.
• Preferred: Ability to balance leadership duties with hands-on technical work.
• Preferred: Advanced experience with Jira and Jira Service Management workflows.
• Preferred: Strong organizational, communication, and team empowerment skills.
- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• US Base Pay Range: $163,000—$223,000 USD.
• Compensation includes base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits.
• Salary ranges depend on role, level, location, experience, skills, and education.
