Night And Day Emergency Dentist is a private dental practice. Our main focus is on emergency dental treatment, but we also offer cosmetic dentistry - including composite bonding, implants, Invisalign/facial aesthetics, as well as routine dentistry.

Job Title: Dental Nurse/Dental Receptionist

We are a welcoming private practice seeking a dental nurse.

Our main focus is on emergency dental treatment, but we also offer cosmetic dentistry - including composite bonding, implants, Invisalign/facial aesthetics, as well as routine dentistry.

Applicants must have prior work experience that is relevant to the position.

The working hours are extremely flexible.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the dentist during dental procedures

• Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment

• Taking and developing dental x-rays

• Providing patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care

• Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes

• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic

• Managing inventory of dental supplies and ordering as needed

• Assisting with front desk duties such as scheduling appointments and billing

Qualifications:

• Valid certification and GDC registration as a Dental Nurse

-Must have up to date Hep B vaccinations

-Knowledge of Dentally software preferred however, not required

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials

• Proficient in taking dental x-rays and maintaining radiographic equipment

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy

Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
