DENTAL NURSE

• Patient Oriented:

• Patient assessment

• Patient & relative explanation

• To explain briefly to patient about any required investigation

• To understand and coordinate with the other departments for patient care

• To perform basic functions like taking vital signs, performing physical information, Oral care, Feeding (nasal gastric),oxygen inhalation, ,Nebulizer therapy, collecting specimen etc

• Keeping patients comfortable during the stay in the hospital

• To maintain safe environment during the patient stay in the hospital.

• Inventory Oriented:

• Regular checking of stock

• Checking of all indents.

• Medication related:

• Medication management (Ampule/Vial)

• Administering IM injections

• Administration of oral medications

• Department related:

• Attending calls in the respective work areas

• Cleanliness in the department

• Care & Maintenance of the respective diagnostic equipment, reporting to the Nurse Manager for any event of mishap or im-proper functioning.

• Maintaining OPD & IPD registers and records of quality indicators.

• Technical knowhow:

• Basic knowledge of Hospital Information systems

• Basic operation of equipment in wards.

• Alertness:

• Errors of the equipment (If any)

• Comfort level of patients

• Interpersonal skills:

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent coordination skills

• Decision making skills

• Courteousness & Politeness to patients

• Basic Emergency Training:

• ILS

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR5,500.00 per month
