Position: Dental Nurse - Registered Nurse

Role Summary

We are seeking a professional and experienced Dental Nurse - Registered Nurse to join our modern dental and aesthetic wellness center in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing and dental clinical support, assist dentists during various procedures and ensure patient safety, comfort, infection control and excellent patient care throughout the treatment journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing and dental clinical support before, during and after dental procedures.

• Assist dentists and dental specialists and other departments.

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment before procedures.

• Provide efficient chairside assistance during dental treatments.

• Prepare and handle dental instruments, materials, medications and clinical supplies.

• Monitor patients' condition, vital signs, comfort and recovery during and after procedures.

• Provide patients with appropriate pre-treatment and post-treatment care instructions.

• Perform blood withdrawal confidently with strong practical experience.

• Administer IV drips and monitor patients during IV therapy when required and within scope of practice.

• Assist with dental surgical and minor surgical procedures while maintaining proper aseptic technique.

• Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization and preparation of dental instruments and equipment.

• Maintain strict infection control and clinical hygiene standards.

• Maintain accurate patient records, nursing documentation, treatment notes and consent documentation.

• Ensure proper medication handling and patient safety procedures.

• Handle emergency situations calmly and professionally within the scope of nursing practice.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times.

• Communicate effectively with dentists, specialists, patients and other clinical team members.

• Maintain a clean, organized and efficient clinical environment.

• Support smooth daily dental clinic operations and ensure an excellent patient experience.

Requirements

• Valid SHA License - Registered Nurse is mandatory.

• Minimum 2-3 years of UAE experience in a dental clinic, hospital dental department, or relevant clinical setting.

• Mandatory experience in a dental clinical setting.

• Strong hands-on experience in chairside dental assistance and dental procedures.

• Experience assisting with cosmetic dentistry or specialized dental procedures is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of dental instruments, infection control, sterilization and clinical hygiene.

• Strong practical experience in blood withdrawal and IV drip administration.

• Good knowledge of patient monitoring, medication handling, emergency procedures and patient safety.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.

• Professional, well-presented, detail-oriented and compassionate.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and premium dental environment.

• Strong teamwork and coordination skills.
