Job Summary
The Dermatology Nurse provides safe, high-quality nursing care to patients receiving dermatological assessment and treatment. The role involves assisting dermatologists during consultations and procedures, preparing patients and treatment areas, providing pre- and post-procedure care, maintaining infection-control standards, and educating patients regarding skin care and treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities

Assess patients and obtain relevant medical and dermatological history.

Prepare patients for dermatology consultations, examinations, and procedures.

Assist dermatologists with dermatological procedures and treatments.

Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies.

Perform nursing procedures within the scope of practice and approved clinical protocols.

Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care and monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and within the nurse's scope of practice.

Assist with procedures such as wound care, dressings, biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and other dermatological procedures as applicable to the facility.

Provide appropriate wound and post-procedure care instructions.

Educate patients regarding prescribed treatments, medication use, skin care, and follow-up appointments.

Monitor patients' responses to treatment and promptly report any concerns to the dermatologist or physician.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, procedures, medications, and nursing care.

Ensure appropriate infection prevention and control practices are followed at all times.

Maintain confidentiality and protect patients' privacy and dignity.

Check, prepare, and maintain dermatology equipment and supplies.

Monitor stock levels and report shortages or equipment issues.

Support patient flow and coordinate effectively with physicians and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical audit activities.

Comply with organizational policies, nursing standards, and applicable Qatar healthcare regulatory requirements.

Perform other duties related to dermatology nursing as assigned by the Nurse Manager or Department Head.
Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,800.00 per month
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Dermatology Nurse: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Nursing (Required)
