DevOps Engineer - Production Support | AWS | SRE | Payments

We are looking for an experienced

DevOps Engineer

with strong expertise in A

WS, Infrastructure,

CI/CD, Terraform, GitHub, SRE and Production Support

to support and enhance highly available,

business-critical payments and financial services platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of

DevOps engineering and production support

experience, with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues, automate operational processes, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and improve the reliability, scalability and performance of cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Production Support, IT Operations, SRE, environments.

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.

• Develop and manage CI/CD workflows using GitHub / GitHub Actions and related DevOps tooling.

• Build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure across development, testing and production environments.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including reusable modules and automated provisioning.

• Support AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch and ECS/EKS.

• Provide L2/L3 Production Support for critical payment and banking applications.

• Monitor production environments and respond to incidents, alerts and performance issues.

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurring incidents.

• Participate in on-call / incident management activities for critical production platforms.

• Develop automation using Python, Bash or PowerShell to reduce manual operational activities and improve reliability.

• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and observability using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk or similar.

• Work closely with application, infrastructure, security and payment teams to resolve production issues.

• Support application releases, deployment validation, rollback and recovery activities.

• Implement SRE practices, including reliability improvement, automation, incident reduction and operational resilience.

Required Technical Skills

• AWS

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure. EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS.

• DevOps & CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps

• Infrastructure as Code

  – Terraform, Ansible

• Production Support / SRE

• Containers

  • Docker and Kubernetes

• Automation

  • Experience automating deployment, infrastructure and operational processes.

• Payments / Banking Experience

• Experience in payments, cards, transaction processing or financial services is highly desirable.
