Job description

Role: Automotive DevOps / CI-CD Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC (100% Onsite)

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps / CI-CD Engineer to join our automotive software development team. In this role, you will build and scale the continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines that power next-generation vehicle architectures, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and digital cockpit platforms. You will bridge the gap between software development, embedded systems engineering, and cloud operations to ensure safe, secure, and rapid software delivery

Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Development:

    Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines tailored for embedded software, AUTOSAR environments, and cloud backend services.

  • Workflow Automation:

    Automate code building, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing, and deployment processes to maximize developer efficiency.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    Work closely with embedded developers, systems engineers, and validation teams to integrate new features and resolve build/test failures quickly.

  • Infrastructure Management:

    Manage and optimize cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) or hybrid infrastructure to support large-scale data collection, simulation, and artifact management.

  • Release Management:

    Support software release processes, merging code elements into official release packages while tracking traceability and compliance standards.

  • Monitoring & Optimization:

    Monitor build times, system performance, and pipeline reliability, implementing continuous improvements to reduce latency.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    3–6 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or CI/CD engineering role, preferably within automotive, aerospace, or embedded systems.

  • Programming & Scripting:

    Strong proficiency in Python, Bash/Shell scripting, and SQL

  • CI/CD Tooling:

    Hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions

  • Version Control & Tracking:

    Proficiency with Git, JIRA

    , and requirements management tools (e.g., JAMA, Confluence).

  • Containerization:

    Experience with Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

  • Automotive Domain Knowledge (Preferred):

    Familiarity with AUTOSAR

    (Classic/Adaptive), MATLAB/Simulink

    , ECU software development, or V-cycle/Agile development methodologies.

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
