Duties

Design, implement, and maintain containerization systems such as Docker and Kubernetes to streamline application deployment and scaling.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and PowerShell scripts across cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, OpenStack, and private data centers.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins, GitLab, TFS, or similar tools to facilitate continuous integration and continuous delivery of software projects.
Monitor system performance with IT monitoring tools such as New Relic or Splunk; analyze logs for troubleshooting and optimize system health for high availability.
Administer cloud infrastructure components including virtual machines (VMware), virtualization platforms (Virtualization), web servers (NGINX, WebSphere, Weblogic), databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle), and application servers.
Implement security best practices by configuring firewalls, managing identity & access management (IAM), DNS configurations, disaster recovery plans, incident response protocols, and cloud security measures.
Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment processes for enterprise software using scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell), Perl, Groovy, Ruby, Python, C#, Java, Go, or C++.

Skills

Extensive experience with containerization systems such as Docker and Kubernetes for deploying microservices architectures.
Proficiency in cloud computing platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, OpenStack; strong understanding of cloud infrastructure management.
Hands-on knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef; build automation with Maven or Gradle; source control with GitHub or GitLab.
Deep understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP protocols; DNS management; TCP connections; WAN/LAN configurations; network administration.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), Perl; ability to automate complex deployment workflows and system testing procedures.
Familiarity with enterprise software environments such as WebSphere, Weblogic; middleware configuration; disaster recovery planning; incident recovery strategies.
Experience managing databases like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle with T-SQL or PL/SQL scripting for data operations.
Knowledge of monitoring tools such as New Relic or Splunk for log analysis; Elasticsearch for search capabilities; incident management protocols.
Understanding of SDLC principles including requirements gathering, requirements management; agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban for project execution.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to cloud security, system administration across UNIX/Linux environments; debugging software deployment problems efficiently.

Pay: $115,374.75 - $138,945.94 per year
