DHA Registered Nurse with Phlebotomy experience

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate DHA-licensed Registered Nurse with experience in Doctor-on-Call services, Emergency Department, or ICU settings. The ideal candidate must have excellent blood collection and difficult venous-access skills and be confident in providing safe nursing care in patients’ homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services during Doctor-on-Call and home healthcare visits.

• Perform blood collection and venipuncture, including difficult-vein cases.

• Collect, label, handle, and prepare specimens according to infection-control and laboratory protocols.

• Conduct patient assessments and accurately record vital signs and clinical observations.

• Administer prescribed medications, injections, IV fluids, and other treatments within the approved scope of practice.

• Establish IV access and provide basic emergency support when required.

• Recognise signs of patient deterioration and escalate emergencies appropriately.

• Coordinate with doctors, laboratories, patients, and family members.

• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation.

• Follow DHA regulations, patient-safety standards, and infection-control procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Nursing.

• Valid DHA Registered Nurse licence, eligibility letter, or cancelled DHA licence.

• Previous experience in Doctor-on-Call, Emergency Department, or ICU nursing.

• Excellent blood extraction, venipuncture, and IV-cannulation skills are mandatory.

• Confident in collecting blood from patients with difficult venous access.

• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification is preferred.

• Strong patient-assessment and emergency-response capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and travel for patient visits.

• Immediate availability or a short notice period is preferred.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
