This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, AI & Data Product Management based in United States.
This leadership role will oversee the strategy, delivery, quality, and financial performance of AI and data product engagements across a portfolio of enterprise clients. You will lead high-impact programs that translate complex data and AI challenges into scalable product strategies and measurable business outcomes. The role combines client engagement, product leadership, portfolio management, commercial ownership, and team development. You will build trusted relationships with senior executives and shape multi-phase roadmaps from MVP through production and scale. You will also establish product management standards, delivery frameworks, and reusable assets that elevate consistency across engagements. As an advocate for AI-assisted delivery, you will help define productivity standards and ensure AI adoption creates measurable value. The position offers the opportunity to influence both client outcomes and the growth and maturity of a global, distributed product practice.
Accountabilities:

Own the design, delivery, quality, scope, and financial performance of AI and data product engagements across a portfolio of client accounts, serving as engagement leader for key programs.

Translate complex client requirements into scalable product strategies, ensuring solutions are aligned with business priorities and measurable outcomes.

Establish and enforce high standards for product specifications, backlogs, business acceptance criteria, and adoption KPIs across engagements while driving root-cause improvements.

Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, including CDOs, CTOs, CAOs, and VPs of Product, and develop multi-phase product roadmaps from MVP through scale.

Plan staffing and capacity across the practice while balancing utilization, team growth, and delivery commitments.

Own the recruiting pipeline and help attract and hire high-caliber talent capable of delivering consistently high-quality client outcomes.

Own go-to-market strategy, pipeline targets, product bookings, and revenue outcomes while contributing directly to commercial growth.

Lead pre-sales activities including discovery sessions, executive workshops, SOW scoping, executive proposals, and storytelling that connects product management capabilities to measurable business value.

Develop and maintain product management standards, delivery frameworks, and reusable assets that strengthen the broader practice.

Define AI productivity standards and evaluation models, embedding AI-assisted workflows into delivery and ensuring adoption translates into measurable productivity gains.

Monitor customer satisfaction, extensions, expansions, delivery escalations, team performance, and other portfolio-level success measures to continuously improve outcomes.
Requirements:

You bring 10+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years in consulting, professional services, or an advisory environment.

You have a proven track record of leading and managing product managers with accountability for utilization, performance, and client satisfaction.

You have experience managing a portfolio of client accounts with direct responsibility for delivery quality, scope, and financial performance.

You have demonstrated success building and scaling data or AI products from MVP through production.

You have a deep understanding of modern data and AI technologies, including platforms such as Snowflake, cloud environments, BI tools, and agentic AI frameworks.

You are proficient in product operating models, backlog management, specification quality, KPI frameworks, business acceptance criteria, and value realization planning.

You have experience designing AI-assisted product workflows and embedding AI productivity tools into team delivery, with the ability to establish and evaluate AI adoption standards.

You have a strong pre-sales track record, including SOW development, executive proposals, discovery, and closing consulting engagements.

You communicate confidently with senior executives and can translate complex product and technology concepts into compelling business outcomes for CDO, CTO, and board-level audiences.

You proactively identify delivery risks, escalate effectively, and drive root-cause accountability across multiple concurrent engagements.

Experience with a top-tier data, AI, or management consulting firm is preferred.

You have experience working with global or remote teams and collaborating across the U.S., LATAM, and/or India.

You are willing and able to travel up to 50%, equivalent to approximately 10 of 20 working days per month.
