DOH Registered Nurse-Industrial Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a DOH licensed Registered Nurse to provide nursing care and occupational health support at an industrial site. The nurse will assess employees’ health concerns, respond to medical emergencies, support workplace health initiatives, and maintain accurate clinical records.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess employees presenting with illness or injury and provide nursing care within the authorised scope of practice.

• Provide first aid and emergency nursing care, escalating cases and arranging hospital referrals or ambulance transfers when required.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols.

• Monitor vital signs, provide wound care, and follow up on employees’ recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of consultations, treatments, injuries, and referrals.

• Support occupational health screening and medical surveillance programmes in coordination with the physician and HSE team.

• Identify and report workplace health concerns, including heat stress, dehydration, and potential occupational exposure.

• Educate employees on hygiene, infection prevention, hydration, heat illness prevention, and general wellbeing.

• Maintain clinic readiness, including emergency equipment, medical supplies, medication stock, and expiry checks.

• Follow infection prevention, medical waste disposal, and clinical safety procedures.

• Coordinate with site management, the HSE team, and healthcare providers on medical incidents and emergency preparedness.

• Prepare clinic activity reports and participate in emergency drills.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or recognised in Nursing.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of Emergency or ICU Experience.

• Valid DOH Registered Nurse licence.

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Previous experience in industrial, occupational health, site nursing, or emergency care preferred.

• Strong assessment, first aid, emergency response, and documentation skills.

• Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.

• Ability to work independently within clinical protocols and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Willingness to work at industrial or remote sites and undertake shifts as required.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
