Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Virginia $130k - $140k/year & benefits (see below).

Location: Glen Allen, VA

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced .NET Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Angular, Microsoft Azure, and AWS to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using .NET/C# and Angular.

  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performing RESTful APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core/Web API.

  • Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

  • Design and implement database solutions using SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and other relational or NoSQL databases.

  • Deploy, configure, and monitor applications across Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.

  • Work with cloud services such as:

  • Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, and Application Insights

  • AWS EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, and IAM

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.

  • Implement cloud-native, containerized, and microservices-based solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Apply security best practices, including authentication, authorization, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and role-based access control.

  • Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application quality.

  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and support application releases.

  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.

  • Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment guides.

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Professional software development experience.

  • Strong programming experience with:

  • C#

  • .NET Core / ASP.NET Core

  • REST APIs

  • Entity Framework Core

  • Strong frontend development experience with:

  • Angular

  • TypeScript

  • JavaScript

  • HTML5 and CSS3

  • RxJS

  • Experience with

    SQL Server

  • Hands-on experience deploying applications to

    Microsoft Azure

  • Working knowledge of

    AWS cloud services and architecture

  • Experience with Git and modern software development practices.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with messaging systems such as:

    Terraform, ARM templates, or AWS CloudFormation

  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Application Insights, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, ELK, or Grafana.

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as:
