Hiring: Electrical Design Engineer – LV Switchgear

Mind Stream is hiring for our client, an LV switchgear manufacturer/panel builder in Qatar.

Location: Industrial Area, Doha, Qatar (factory-based, not an office role)

Contract: 2 years, renewable

Key Responsibilities:

• Design LV switchgear and panels, including MDB, SMDB, MCC, ATS, DB, and control panels.

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD and shop drawings for manufacturing.

• Ensure compliance with relevant IEC standards.

• Verify busbar configurations, wiring layouts, and electrical component specifications.

• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to resolve design issues and update drawings.

Requirements:

• 3–7 years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with an LV switchgear manufacturer or panel builder.

• Hands-on experience in LV switchgear and panel design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical design software.

• Good knowledge of IEC standards and manufacturing drawings.
