Electrical Engineer

About Us

AK Building Contracting L.L.C. (AKBC) is a Dubai-based building contracting company delivering residential, commercial and industrial projects across the UAE. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our project team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, supervise and coordinate electrical works on site in line with approved drawings, specifications and DEWA requirements

2. Review shop drawings, load calculations and material submittals

3. Coordinate with consultants, MEP subcontractors and the site team to keep work on schedule

4. Carry out site inspections, testing and commissioning of electrical systems

5. Prepare and submit inspection requests, DEWA/authority approvals and NOCs

6. Monitor quality, safety and compliance with HSE standards

7. Prepare progress reports, BOQs and material requirements

8. Support project handover, including as-built drawings and O&M documentation

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

2. 4–5 years of experience in building construction, with at least 2 years in the UAE

3. Good knowledge of DEWA regulations and authority approval processes

4. Experience with LV systems, power distribution, lighting, small power and ELV coordination

5. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office

6. Strong coordination and reporting skills

7. UAE driving license preferred

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Electrical engineering: 4 years (Preferred)
